Brady Collins is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 6-1 140 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends Grace Christian Academy. Slender young build, long legs, lots of room to fill out. Right handed hitter, open spread stance, doesn't get squared back to the plate, simple load and approach, works the middle of the field with soft line drive contact, repeats swing mechanics well, should improve offensively with additional strength. 7.46 runner, has soft hands and good fielding fundamentals at the ball, long actions, raw arm strength still developing. Also pitched, stays tall on his backside and works downhill well, compact arm circle with a tight high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 76 mph and keeps it down in the zone well, soft curveball with good depth, threw strikes and mixed his pitches well. Good student.
