Hayden Timosciek is a 2022 1B/RHP, C, 3B, OF with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Lockport, IL who attends Lockport Township East. Large frame with long limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary first baseman with smooth paced footwork while ranging for and centering the baseball. Displayed soft hands while funneling the baseball with clean exchange. Also worked out defensively from behind the plate showing a wide, side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains some ground while working to the bag with loose glove to hand exchanges. Released from a loose three-quarters arm slot producing softer carry to the bag with developing accuracy. Right handed hitter with a wide, balanced stance and high hand set. Created lift through the zone on a naturally leveraged barrel plane through extension. Flashed the ability to turn barrel head to contact out front and generated some jump off the barrel to pull side. Also pitched utilizing a simple rock step to high leg lift delivery. Stays flexed on back side at gather and worked to the plate with drop and drive actions. Stays in line with the plate through finish. Deep arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Showed developing feel for a fastball offering that generating occasional run to arm side in the low to mid 70's, topped at 75 miles per hour. Attached hitters to the bottom of the zone and induced weak ground ball contact. Excellent student.
