Michael Giordano is a 2017 OF/1B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends West Broward HS. Large frame, sturdy athletic build with present strength. Primary outfielder, bends well for size and shows body control. Solid actions and worked through the ball, good throws to bases with carry, up to 82 mph in drills. Also worked out in the infield, showed soft hands at first base and solid footwork around the bag. Right handed hitter, wide base with deep hand position set. Maintains looseness in swing, has an easy weight shift. Noticeable strength and physicality in frame, flashed good bat speed and ability to make impact contact off of the barrel. Mostly middle of the field approach, could get extended a bit more consistently, has ability to backspin the baseball, and projects well offensively.
