Quindarius Johnson is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Lithonia, GA who attends Martin Luther King Jr. HS. Long limbed athletic build, lots of room to get bigger and stronger. 7.21 runner, young actions in the outfield, has some raw arm strength but tends to fly open early from a low arm slot, can improve with better fundamentals. Right handed hitter, wrapped barrel start, big gather, long and loose swing with lots of timers that have to come together, tries to take an inside swing path but best when he gets extended, flashes quick hands and some projection with the bat. Also pitched, fastball topped out at 78 mph from the same low 3/4's arm slot as his outfield throwing, fast paced delivery. Slow curveball had sweeping action and occasional depth. Has the athleticism to keep improving with work and coaching.
