Davis Bigelow is a 2019 2B/RHP, 3B, SS with a 5-10 130 lb. frame from St. George, UT who attends Snow Canyon. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Ran a 7.52 sixty-yard dash. Primary second baseman with clean, athletic footwork while surrounding the baseball. Showed good range to each side as well. Funnels the baseball out front with fluid glove actions and works through exchange well. Primarily released from a low three-quarters slot, but flashed the ability to throw with multiple arm slot with accuracy. Right handed hitter with a spread, crouched stance and forward hand set. Lower half works to contact with rotational actions. Utilized a mid field approach with a line drive swing plane. Flashed the hand speed to turn the barrel at times and work to the pull side gap. Also pitched showing a simple delivery, lands in line with the plate at finish and carries momentum. Compact arm action from a low three-quarters slot. Fastball had occasional sink in the low to mid 70's, topped at 74 miles per hour. Looked to work ahead of hitter early and challenge hitters. Tools will develop with continued maturity. Good student as well.
