Brian Heidbreder is a 2017 OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Lake Forest, IL who attends Lake Forest Community HS. Heidbreder has a medium sized frame with an athletic build. Defensively he is aggressive to the baseball in the outfield and gains ground on his crow hop. He showed athletic actions with clean transfers. Heidbreder showed good arm strength up to 87 MPH and he throws with some effort. At the plate, he starts with an open stance with a high hand set. He swings on a line drive plane and has some bat speed. Heidbreder has some violence to his swing and showed some pop. He made solid contact and he gets some extension to his swing. Very good student, named to Top Prospect Team.
