Marcus Hernandez is a 2023 3B/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Whittier, CA who attends Loyola. Large physical build with present athleticism. Primary infielder stays in front of the ball and moves well up the middle. Is meticulous with his glove work and he shows accuracy on his throws across the diamond. At the plate, uses a slightly crouched and open stance with a high hanging leg kick trigger. Low handset with a flat barrel plane through the zone. Developing comprehension of his timing and rhythm with the pitcher, middle of the field approach. Good student in the classroom as well.
