Wesley Terry is a 2016 OF/LHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Plantation, FL who attends St Thomas Aquinas. Medium athletic frame with good projection. Hides from wide based-stance, hands high and away from body, toe tap trigger, shows line drive swing plane with ability to hit the ball to all fields. Looked good defensively, fields ball out in front with good footwork throughout mechanics. Moves well to the ball with quick feet. Shows good arm strength from the OF, topping at 80 MPH on accurate throws to the infield. Pitched as well, employing long arm action up to higher slot. Easy delivery that is consistently balanced and online. FB worked 73-74 consistently; showed big breaking CB with 1/7 shape and good depth; flashed some feel for a CH with some fading action. Very good student.
