Austin Green is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Erwin, TN who attends Unicoi County. Large, strong frame with room to fill out and add strength. Ran a 7.57 60 yard dash. Right handed pitcher who throws from an over the top arm slot with a short arm action in back. Takes a short stride downhill with strong longer half. Fastball topped at 82 mph, showing arm side run and ability to spot well on outside corner. Shows strong feel for curveball with 11/5 break. Throws both pitches for strikes. Has a strong, online arm from the outfield with big carry on throws. Right handed batter who works from a slightly open base with high hand set. Uses a leg lift trigger, showing bat speed and a line drive swing path. Very good student.
