Liam Tubridy is a 2017 MIF/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Marblehead, MA who attends St John's Preparatory. Medium frame with highly athletic build throughout body and good room to continue filling out, physically. Ran very well, posting a 6.93 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits with low hands, set near navel, simple approach and simple load, strides forward well into contact, drives back side well with force, made consistently solid, squared contact with good jump off the barrel. Pull field approach, but showed willingness and ability to hit the ball hard to all fields with authority. Showed well defensively during infield drills. Shows very quick feet, quick first step and moves to ball well, has range to both sides, quick transfer/exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly and accurately. Throws across the infield topped at 76 MPH. Projects well defensively with added strength. Outstanding student.
