Reid Singewald is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Norwalk, CT who attends Norwalk. Medium, highly athletic frame with solid build throughout and good projection remaining. Ran 40 yard dash in 5.07 seconds. Middle-to-opposite field approach when hitting, extended stride can cause timing issues, shows very quick hands after barrel tip into load, has good bat speed, hard line drives consistently off the barrel. Timing-oriented swing, but can sting the ball when timed up properly. Showed well defensively in the outfield. Solid footwork to and through fielding the ball, works through the ball well, shorter arm action with solid arm speed, solid accuracy to target with good consistency. Throws from outfield clocked up to 83 MPH. Good student.
