Kyle Pacioni is a 2017 3B/C with a 5-10 200 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends San Ramon Valley HS. Thick and strong build, prototypical catcher's frame. Right handed hitter, wrapped barrel start, simple load and shift into contact, tends to open his front side early creating a single unit swing, needs to use that big lower half strength more to drive his swing, has the strength to hit with adjustments. Arm strength is his best defensive tool, has a loose arm and gets good carry on his throws, 2.09 best pop time, can improve direction and footwork on throws, works hard receiving and blocking, can also play third base. Good student.
