Alex Cimaroli is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Portage, WI who attends Wisconsin Dells HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. 7.17 runner, has quick feet and gets good jumps on plays laterally, charges hard, good funnel and soft hands on ground balls, makes plays, arm short ideally for shortstop but makes the routine play, profiles best at second base. Right handed hitter, open stance with a rock back load, keeps his mechanics and timing simple, short line drive swing, can be late at times but handles the barrel well and squares the ball up, mid field to opposite field contact.
