Chris Haymond is a 2013 OF/SS with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Orange, CA who attends Villa Park. Haymond has a medium sized frame with a strong athletic build. He's a fast twitch athlete running a 6.80 and throwing 83 MPH from the outfield. Haymond uses a long arm action and gets some carry on his throws. He covers lots of ground in the outfield and gets good jumps and is instinctive. He made 2 great diving catches on back to back plays in game. At the plate, Haymond starts with a wide base and uses a no load approach. He has a short swing path and uses a contact approach. He has some hand quickness and will develop more bat speed with a few adjustments. Good tool set to improve upon. Good student.
