Andrew Sharpe is a 2014 C with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Odenton, MD who attends Arundel HS. Very solid build, physically mature, hits from a square stance, has strength in swing with quick hands. Has an aggressive approach with gap to gap line drive results. Has tools at the plate, was little jumpy in batting practice wanting to pull ball, but relaxed and let the ball travel more in games. Defensively,has quickness in exchange and release, but tends to lose ideal direction on throws. Throws were still accurate and quick and will continue to improve with better direction to target. Signed with Northwest Florida State College.
