2011 Canadian Top Prospect Showcase
Brandon Salim is a 2011 MIF/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Brampton, ON who attends St. Edmund Campion. Medium build athlete with strength. Quick feet fielding on the infield, hands field cleanly. Good body control and feel for the infield. Showed range and athleticism on nice diving play at 2B during game. Wide base and the plate with a very simple approach. Line drive swing plane with average balance and extension. Gets good leverage and has strength in his swing. Will improve with better use of lower half during swing. Good student.
