Nate Namanny is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Medford, OR who attends South Medford. Namanny has a projectable pitcher's build and looks the part on the mound. Quick pace to delivery and repeats his mechanics and 3/4 release point. His arm works well and he makes a clean arm stroke. Drives downhill and stays balanced, uses a slight leg wrap to hide the ball as well. Shows feel for his 2-8 curveball and uses it effectively. Sets up well around first base and can pick it. Slight crouch in a straight away stance at the plate. Shows pop with more to come as he incorporates lower half into swing more, quiet and simple approach creates solid contact. Very good student.
