Mark Dignum is a 2006 middle infielder from Loudenville, New York, with an athletic 5'8", 145 pound frame. He shows a quick bat that is short to the ball, and is a solid contact hitter who hits line drives up the middle and to the opposite field. He showed well defensively with good footwork and above average hands that will allow him to play either middle infield position, but second base is his strongest of the two positions. Dignum also showed great game awareness and instincts. Mark is a very strong student.
