Jeffrey Lamson is a 2006 shortstop/right handed pitcher from Rio Linda, California, with a good frame and athletic build. He showed good arm strength at shortstop with sure hands and footwork. Lamson throws from a low 3/4 to side arm angle from shortstop on occasion which can limit carry. At the plate, he hits from an average base, and stands tall in the box with some good aggressiveness to contact. On the mound, he has a quick tempo delivery, and attacks hitters. He is a finesse right handed pitcher with a real good feel for the strike zone. Jeffrey is a good student.
