Brian Pickersgill is a 2028 C/RHP/3B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Vienna, VA who attends Bishop O'Connell. Larger frame with a strong lower-half and projection remaining. Primary catcher, sets up in a slightly open stance and gets out of the crouch with some urgency. Gains ground inline while transferring the baseball slightly off to the side. Displayed developing footwork and lateral agility behind the dish. Kept his throws around the bag while recording arm strength up to 74 mph with a pop-time of 2.04 sec. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works from a full wind-up delivery with belt-high leg lift. Operation remains compact and creates deception. Separates into a short arm path before accelerating into a high three-quarters arm angle. Fastball showed some cut while working the glove-side and ultimately peaking at 76 mph. Mixed in an 11-5 breaking ball with consistent shape. Switch-hitter; from the left-side, starts in a wide, slightly open stance with a very high hand set-up and high back elbow. Utilizes a simple stride for timing before working into a long and uphill path to the baseball. Has evident strength in the hands and barrel. Produced fairly consistent contact to the pull-side. From the right-side, starts in a wider stance with deep and tight hands. Uses a big rock-back for a loading mechanism before working into a rounder stroke. Stayed through the middle of the field during batting practice. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 7.39 sixty-yard dash.
