Jordan Alvarado is a 2028 SS/OF/BHP with a 5-5 125 lb. frame from Manteca, CA who attends Tracy. Small and slender young build. 7.86 runner in the sixty. Left handed hitter, has a well balanced swing that uses the ground and his lower half well, some quickness in his hands and stays short and direct to the ball, worked the middle of the field well, very good base swing to build from if he can get bigger and stronger. Primary shortstop on defense, had second base actions and made his best throws when dropping his arm slot, still developing consistency in his glove work. Also worked out in the outfield. Both hand thrower on the mound, throws from a simple cross body delivery from both sides and a 3/4's arm slot. Stuff was the same as well, mostly mid-60's and topping out at 68 mph with a big sweeping curveball that was his best pitch, especially from the left side. Threw strikes and competed well.
