Cole Chatfield is a 2025 SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Mount Pleasant, PA who attends Mount Pleasant Area. Medium athletic build with room to add more strength as he continues to physically mature. Primary shortstop, has softness in the hands with the ability to adjust slots up the middle. Works into a shorter arm path and releases the ball from a high three-quarters slot. Actions were a bit stiff at times. Delivered accurate throws while recording arm strength up to 82 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts in a wider base with tight hands and a high back elbow. Utilizes a short lift and replace trigger for timing and works into a flatter bat path. Has some present quickness in the hands with good feel for the barrel. Gets rotational at times. Recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 7.21 sixty-yard dash. Great student.
