Ly'Dale Brathwaite is a 2024 1B/OF with a 6-0 178 lb. frame from St. Thomas, ST who attends . Medium, strong build. 8.13 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Primary first baseman, athleticism shines bouncing off the bag, gets the hands down late and fields with a deep two hand funnel. Long exchange and arm stroke to a higher release point. Developing arm strength shown, recorded accurate throws to both bags up to 73 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, full windup delivery, big side step into a moderate leg lift. Full arm swing to a higher release point. Sat in the upper-60s showing developing arm speed. Left-handed hitter, medium and even base with high hands in the stance, inside out barrel path through the zone, works hard to get the hands inside and hit the ball to the opposite field. Will see more power as he loosens up the hands. Good student.
