Apollo Como is a 2029 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-2 105 lb. frame from Grove City, PA who attends Grove City Area. Young, narrow shouldered frame with a lean build and room to grow and develop physically moving forward. Ran an 8.57 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows actions to the ball once underway, one handed gather out front, sound fundamentals, tends to get under the ball at release, arm strength and carry will continue to develop on throws. Also pitched, full wind up on the bump, side step into a controlled and deliberately paced leg lift; pauses at top prior to breaking into a short stride down the mound. Works fast and filled the strike zone, fastball topped out at 64 mph with occasional running life, pitched exclusively off of the fastball in this look. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Rotational swing with developing bat speed, gets front foot down on time, contact oriented approach with a linear path through the zone. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
