David Fairclough is a 2028 3B/RHP/2B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Scranton, PA who attends Scranton Prep. A medium frame and compact build with some strength present. Room to keep adding strength to it. Ran an 8.01 60-yard dash. Primary infielder who showed patient actions working to it, showing a smooth gather and transfer. He showed feel for throws across the diamond, throwing 62 mph across during his round. He took BP as a right-handed hitter with a spread stance and bent knee. He was able to get the bat to the ball with a more compact and direct path. Took the hands straight to the ball, aiming to meet it out in front and connect. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who worked from the stretch during his outing. Started with open feet and used the lower half as he got down the hill. He had a shorter arm action working down the slope, pitching from a three-quarters arm slot. Worked gloveside with the fastball as well. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
