Taplin Everette is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Salt Lake City, UT who attends West. Features a medium, athletic frame with a sturdy lower half. The left-hander made an appearance on the mound in game action at the West Academic. Fastball show some arm side run and he locates it within all-four quadrants. Throws each pitch with a purpose and executes that purpose. Shows solid spin rate with the breaking balls at 2200+ RPM. Quick arm with more to come. In the outfield, Everette fields out front while working through the baseball, taking quick routes to the ball. Has a little crossfire from there with longer arm action and stays accurate. Traditional stance at the plate with a toe tap trigger and tries to lift. Takes a big swing and has some barrel speed through the zone. Can use the whole field with an up the middle approach. Named to the West Academic Top Player List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
