Avg. exchange quickness where he used a glove tap at times. Showed a shorter/efforty arm action that got off accurate throws across with avg. strength for his level. At the plate. he tis in a wider stance where he gets into his legs with some pre-torso tilt. Uses a simple forward stride and gets the barrel into a flatter launch. Some drift into contact where he loses his backside at times. Hands work direct delivering a steeper barrel through the zone. Some effort to the operation where he got off swings with avg. bat speed for his level. Best results were a couple FB barrels to the middle of the field. On the mound, he works exclusively from the stretch and gets into a mid-chest knee lift he syncs with a glove pump up. Arm works longer out the glove and a bit stabby in the back getting up to a normal 3/4 slot with avg. arm speed. Decent lower half engagement where he works on-line with minimal block at landing. He ran the FB up to 71, living in the upper 60s showing some feel with it to the armside. Mixed in a developing 11-5 upper 50s breaker with noticeable hump out the hand.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
