Kelbi Tunstall is a 2028 C/RHP/SS with a 5-4 129 lb. frame from Pleasant Grove, AL who attends Pleasant Grove. Tunstall ran a 7.82 Sixty Yard Dash. Small Athletic build with plenty of time to mature and continue to add strength. Primary catcher with a lower hip set and a staggered stance. Catching the ball out in front with two hands he works around the plate with a long arm swing and developing arm strength across the diamond. Secondary right handed pitcher working with a hip high leg lift with a shorter stride to the plate. The body stays compact and linear throughout the operation with a straight over the top arm action while staying short with the arm stroke. His fastball is straight as he showed good command to the outer half of the plate with it peaking at 65mph. The breaking ball showed two plane break with some depth and tightness which topped at 59. Right handed hitter starts with a medium base with a small toe tap trigger. His hands stay in rhythm well throughout the operation. The bat stays linear through the zone working to more of a pull side approach. Tunstall is an excellent student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
