Jack Haines is a 2030 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-10, 155 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Pinnacle. He is a 7.17 runner in the sixty. Medium athletic build with present strength and clear physical projection remaining. He is a right-handed hitter with a balanced setup and a high leg lift trigger. He has quick, strong hands through the zone with an uphill path and the ability to create contact with intent. The hand speed and bat-to-ball ability stand out with developing impact potential as he continues to get reps. On the mound, the right-handed pitcher works primarily from the stretch with a repeatable delivery. Fastball has firm life with a lower release height that creates some deception and plays to both sides of the plate. The curveball has 12/6 shape with ability to land and bury as a potential out pitch. The changeup has some depth and projects with continued refinement. Defensively, he has versatility across the outfield and infield. In the outfield, displays developing footwork with carry on throws and proper actions through the ball. In the infield, he has workable hands and developing feel for angles with room to continue refining footwork and efficiency. Excellent student.
