Jerome Mestas is a 2028 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-3 111 lb. frame from Denver, CO who attends Mullen. Small and skinny build as of present. Ran a 8.03 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, very aggressive and energetic approach to the ball, one hand gather to the side, nice fundamental actions in place with a nice idea in the grass relative to size and class, lower slot release, needs arm strength and size. Secondary left-handed pitcher, full windup with a leg kick slightly above the belt, athletic and repeatable operation with a lower three-quarter slot, has an idea on the slope, filled up the zone, softer curveball right now with developing spin traits, occasional run on the fastball, threw quite well for size and projects down the road. Left-handed hitter, open and slightly narrow base, choked up on the stick, hands by chest with a low back elbow, bigger hand move to slot, casts the hands some, pull side contact throughout the round. Has actions present with an idea for the game but needs size and strength that will come for the young prospect.
