2024 Puerto Rico National Showcases Qualifier
Jeremy Nahir Corujo Ortiz is a 2025 RHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Naguabo, PR. Medium build with plenty of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a high leg raise start and a deep and long arm action in back, repeats his mechanics well and slots his release point consistently on his fastball and curveball. Fastball worked in the mid-70's, mostly straight, does a good job of spotting the pitch especially arm side. Curveball was his most effective pitch, lands it consistently with good 11/5 depth at times. Threw strikes and competed well. Good student.
