Kj Tilley is a 2029 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Wapato, WA who attends Zillah. Recorded a 7.16 second sixty yard dash time. Tall frame lean look. Primary first baseman with good glove presentation with one hand mechanics and changed slots with feel for the spot. Also worked out at outfielder with a very short in-line arm path to an over-the-top release with carry and accuracy. Also threw on the mound. The left-handed pitcher works from a hybrid windup with a big turn towards the first base with a small side-step into a letter-high leg lift and drop-and-drive mechanics with a longer, in-line stride. The hands start at the chin and then drops to the belt before a compact takeaway and a low three- quarter arm angle and gets good extension out front. The fastball (2025 RPM) was upper-70s to low-80s and topped out at 81 with some sink and arm-side tail. Mixed in a mid-60s slider (2139 RPM) with 2-8 shape and good sweep across the zone. Flashed a change-up with more vertical than horizontal dive arm-side. Some funk to the slot with a tall frame. Left-handed hitter starts from a medium stance with even feet and a high handset with a high back elbow. Nice whip at impact with some feel for the barrel and some violence to it. Turns over the barrel well and worked low line drives to the pull-side. Collected three hits during the games including a triple. Exciting player with a high ceiling and two-way upside.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
