Cade Johnston is a 2028 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Winter Garden, FL who attends West Orange. Medium, square shouldered frame with some present strength and size to frame. Ran an 8.63 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, moves around well on feet with balance and coordination, hands work well out front and shows clean actions overall, higher slot on throws with developing strength but shows accuracy across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with a balance base in the box and utilizes an inward toe tap trigger moving into stride. Shorter swing path through the zone, can get additional weight shift through lower half moving into contact, shows ability to work to all fields. Keeps hands inside the ball with some length through point of contact, repeats mechanics well swing-to-swing. Very good student.
