Chase Schweitzer is a 2026 RHP with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Uniontown, OH who attends Lake. Slender young build with lots of time and room to fill in and get stronger. Big side step start to his delivery, compact arm action that hides the ball well, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, mostly straight, throws his fastball for strikes. Did a good job of landing a soft curveball for strikes, also showed a fading change up from a lower release slot, tries to mix pitches and keep hitters off balance. 7.32 runner in the sixty. Played outfield when not on the mound, has a quick release and makes accurate soft throws, tends to sweep his glove at the ball. Right handed hitter, starts from an open stance with an early pre-stride to straight, still start, repeated his timing and swing path well, consistent middle of the field line drive contact, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Excellent student.
