2025 PG Mid-South High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Hudson Brown is a 2028 RHP/OF/IF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Townsend, TN who attends Heritage. Slender athletic build with lots of physical projectabiity remaining, some present strength in his lower half to build on. Works from a compact high energy delivery with drop and drive mechanics to the plate and a long low 3/4's arm action, deception delivery with lots of moving parts. Fastball was in the mid-80's and topped out at 87 mph. Slider was a very good pitch in the mid-70's with 2500+ rpm spin and big and late sweeping depth. Lots of projection remaining in all areas. Secondary outfielder on defense, was aggressive to the ball and fielded it cleanly, very good arm strength and carry from a lower arm slot. Also worked out in the infield, showed lateral athleticism and quality glove work, showed his arm well. Very capable defensively all over the field. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium base with a low hand load, has quick hands and creates bat speed, accurate barrel, ball comes off hard. Has definite two-way potential with tools across the board. Very good student. Named to the PG Mid-South HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.
