Offense- Right handed hitter who has good balance in her swing. Pretty connected upper and lower body. Hits mostly up the middle. Tends to get a little tight in her swing, but when she loosened up, her pop showed up.
Defensive -A pitcher and 3rd baseman, she fields both positions well. She does a great job of seeing the ball into her glove with a smooth transition getting rid of the ball to first base. Kiewiet has a great foundation and will continue to improve as she matures.
Pitching- Right handed pitcher who throws a fastball, change-up, drop-ball, and curve-ball. Her motion needs mechanical work, as her arm circle goes way behind her body, which affects her release severely. Once her arm circle issues are addressed her other pitches will improve dramatically. Her change-up does have a good speed change and stays low well. Drop-ball stayed low as well.
