Ethan Mota-Dias is a 2025 OF/RHP/SS with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Georgetown, ON who attends Christ the King. Features a lean build with some athleticism present. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Worked out on the infield and in the outfield. Uses athleticism well in the outfield. Catches the ball consistently and transfers well into throws. Threw 75 mph during workouts. Showcased sound fundamentals on the dirt. Stays under control and gets around ground balls well. Confident hands work through hops. Still developing consistent range in both directions. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a narrow base stance with an upright posture. Creates a long separation pre-pitch. Swings on a linear path with extension out front. Stays fairly compact to contact. Power should continue to develop. Right-handed pitcher. Gets into legs well using drop and drive mechanics. Throws from a 3/4 slot using a short arm action. Fastball got up to 72 mph with slight armside run. Pounds the zone and generates weak ground balls often. Pairs it with a curveball at 60-62 mph with short, slurve action. Can land the offering for strikes often.
