Lane Ayars is a 2029 OF/LHP with a 6-3 181 lb. frame from Mount Juliet, TN who attends Wilson Central. Tall lean frame with long levers. Primary outfielder, that fields off to the side. Good coordination especially given the size and age. Arm works well and ball comes out on time with accurate zip. Left-handed hitter, high hands, high back elbow, and hanging leg lift into launch. The barrel has some whip on an elongated uphill stroke. Creates flowing separation and hard middle of the field impacts. On the mound, its a methodical delivery with repeatable lift and medium free flowing arm swing to a three-quarters slot. Comes out super clean. Dotted the heater to both sides throughout the look. 1-7 shaped breaker is effective for whiffs. Advanced feel to pitch and execution level for the age. 7.16 60-yard. Outstanding student.
