Mason Puett is a 2027 RHP/3B, SS with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Palmdale, CA. Young, square shouldered frame with a high and long arms. Ran an 8.40 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws with a three quarter arm slot working primarily out of the stretch. His fastball had good arm side tail up to 71 mph. His curveball had good movement and was his go to pitch, staying around the zone throughout the performance up to 54 mph. Worked out both in the outfield and the infield, worked to a lower three-quarters release in the infield, makes the plays and shows accuracy, developing arm strength on throws from both position, deliberate tempo to footwork in the outfield. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow, upright stance, limited weight shift through lower half moving into contact. Hands work in swing and shows a direct path to the ball. He showed good contact up the middle, occasionally gets to front side early, linear path through the zone.
