Alex Caporusso is a 2026 3B/2B/OF with a 5-6 163 lb. frame from Manalapan, NJ who attends St. Rose. Caporusso worked exclusively from his primary IF spot over the course of his event, showcasing flashes of range up the middle with developing footwork and arm strength up to 73 mph. Velocity will continue to tick up as Caporusso physically matures. He repeated a lower arm slot well across the diamond and released quickly. Offensively, the righty started from an even base with a lower back elbow and toe tap trigger producing contact back up the middle of the field. Hand speed was evident with further room to incorporate the lower half and become more consistent with the stroke. Ran a 7.67 sixty yard dash.
