Zac Laviage is a 2024 LHP/ with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Bellaire, TX who attends The Emery Weiner School. Primary left-handed pitcher with a medium frame and strong build. Rhythmic delivery working from the third base side of the rubber. Belt-high lift with a medium arm swing to a 3/4 arm slot delivery. Lands slightly closed down the slope with cut action on the fastball up to 79 mph (1971 RPM). A slider in the low-70s is his go-to secondary that he executed to both sides of the plate. Backdoors the slider to right-handed hitters as an out-pitch during game action. Good athlete with a feel for fielding the position and bouncing off the mound covering bases. Recorded a 7.39 second 60-yard dash time. Secondary outfielder with fundamental footwork on approach to gather. Works through the ball on throws to the bases at 81 with inline momentum. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and high hands setup in the box. Quick toe-tap trigger stride with bat speed and strength out front when he is early and on-time. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
