Maddon DelaCruz is a 2027 SS/C/IF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Corona Del Sol. Long limbed young athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Primary shortstop on defense, smooth actions, soft hands, plenty of functional arm strength from the left side of the infield, light on the feet and showed more than enough to prove he can stick at short long term. Secondary catcher, creeps forward some, arm strength shows here as well, athletic with good hands, accurate throws and repeated. Right-handed hitter, open base with even feet and high hands, inward leg kick trigger, simple swing, developing strength and impact, on the backside some, more of a level path to contact and worked both gaps with hard contact, on the barrel often. Good student. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
