2023 Iowa Blitz Fastpitch Combine
Offense- Right handed hitter who has plus power potential. Strong kid with a balanced swing. The foundation is there for a next level swing down the road.
This P/3rd baseman covers the bunt well. She showcased the ability to cover a lot off ground at 3rd base and a strong arm. There is an extreme upside to this player as she continues to gain experience in both of her positions.
Pitching- Right handed pitcher who throws a fastball, change-up, riseball, and dropball. Overall has a good motion but could use a little more bottom half explosion off the mound and front side resistance. Gets a little forward at release. Throws mid 50’s with potential for more. Change-up was a knuckle. Leaned pretty far forward on this pitch which lead to inconsistency. This pitch was around 44mph. Riseball was spotty but has potential. One of them had great backspin and jumped really well, so it’s there. It just needs to be consistent with the spin direction and tightness. Dropball had good break and stayed low in the zone. Solid pitch.
