Cade Miller is a 2024 3B/RHP with a 5-10 169 lb. frame from New Vienna, OH who attends Fairfield Local. Medium frame with solid build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.02 seconds. Hits from closed stance, simple stride into swing, tends to close off a bit, gets onto front side and creates opposite field approach, can work through middle, shows ability to lift the ball at times. Worked out in the infield, hands work well when out front, quick transfer with developing footwork, clocked up to 76 mph on throws. Also pitched, belt high leg lift, high 3/4 slot with good downhill plane, fastball worked 73-78 mph with good command to outer edge, showed slider with late break in mid-60's, kept hitters off balance and threw strikes. Very good student.
