Diego Barajas is a 2024 RHP/ with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Simi Valley, CA who attends Simi Valley. Tall, lean build with lots of length that bodes well for physical projection. Ran a 8.25 in the 60-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher, works into a repeatable high three-quarter delivery . Fastball showed subtle life up in the zone and missed bats with a late breaking curveball. Clean and repeats well for the next level. Outfielder, good carry to the bag and really slings it in his release. Right-handed hitter, upright and open stance. Quick hands get on plane with pull-side strength. Good intent and rotation on his turn and looks to work that part of the field. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
