Caleb Gregory is a 2025 MIF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Simpsonville, SC who attends J L Mann. Medium current build with twitchy actions and solid overall athleticism. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.40 seconds. Middle infielder that is a good mover, especially for a young defender. Works his angles nicely, some hop to his step and puts himself in good position to work the glove. Needs to relax his hands a bit, glove actions will soften with reps and the ability is there to be an elite fielder. Compact arm action, squares up well and spins the ball clean leading to accurate throws up to 78 mph across the field. RHH with a neutral, slightly open setup and good handset. Gets started early, loading into his backside and uses short stride to prepare for launch. A bit of length to contact currently but gets on plane well and ball will jump even more over time with strength gains. Performed well in game action, collecting several nice base hits and distinguished himself defensively. Outstanding student and seems to be coming into his own right now.
