2025 PG Sophomore National Showcase (2028 Grads)
Carter Shouse is a 2028 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Middletown, OH who attends Bishop Fenwick. Big and strong athletic build, stands out physically. Right handed hitter, starts from a relaxed spread and open stance, outstanding rhythm and flow into his swing, high end bat speed with easy lift and separation, lived on the barrel with big impact, mostly pull side contact. 6.93 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, accurate throws with zip and carry, good feet, quick arm stroke, rounds it off, coordinated and athletic, good mover, repeats, comfortable in the grass. First base, moves extremely well, athletic and smooth, plenty of arm strength up to 95-mph, loose and easy. Left-handed pitcher, stretch only, coiled leg lift, closed front foot at landing, quick shoulder, three-quarters slot, effort at release, spins off and arm does recoil, firm four seam, light action on the change, 2-7 shape on the breaker that gets tight, replicates release and sells it, clean look. Right-handed hitter, spread open base, bat head on shoulder, bat speed, easy launch, great angles, effortless lift, high end offensive ceiling.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
