Tyler Faust is a 2026 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from North Huntingdon, PA who attends Norwin. Medium athletic build with good present strength and more to come. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight stance with a high hand load, has a simple and well timed stride into contact, creates outstanding lift and leverage and bat speed, gets into his hips very well, athletic swing that creates loud pull side to mid field contact, bat stood out. Primary outfielder on defense, very aggressive to the ball and in his transition into throwing, full wind up and effort throwing, non-game actions but showed his arm strength well. Similar actions and tools in the infield. Took a turn on the mound, works mostly from the stretch from the first base side, deep arm action with a 3/4's arm action, high energy delivery. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with some arm side life, also threw a hard slider that flashed some depth and two-plane break. Tends to grunt loudly on the fastball but not the breaking ball. Good student. Named to the PG New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
