Cooper Albaugh is a 2026 OF/1B with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Elkhart, IA who attends North Polk. He has a medium frame with a high waist and room to add strength as he continues to develop. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.95 seconds. Primary outfielder that waits back on the ball and fields it deep next to his body. He fields it cleanly and makes quick transfers to his throwing hand. He can add velocity by working through the throw with his lower half more. He showed nice accuracy in throwing to the bases. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even stance and uses a leg lift trigger for timing. He keeps his hands tight to his body which allows him to stay inside the baseball. He has a longer swing and looks to elevate the ball. he can add power by staying through the baseball more at the point of contact and on his follow through. Very good student.
