Adam Choleva is a 2008 SS with a 5'10'', 158 lb. frame from Toronto ON, who attends Forest Hill Collegiate. He has a medium build and developing strength. Choleva ran the 60 in 7.33 and was 4.58 to first base. He has a smooth glove and soft hands in the infield, with quick active feet. Choleva's arm action and release need work and he'll be limited to second base due to his arm strength at the next level. Offensively, Choleva has some hand strength and some bat speed. He has a reverse toe tap trigger and a short swing. The ball jumps off his bat well and it looks like he'll have some gap to gap pop. Choleva impressed us as a hustling type player who is going to maximize his tools and be an asset to a team with his approach. He is a good student.
